Insurance requirements for Parcel Force Worldwide Owner Drivers and Couriers.
Clause 17 of the Terms and Conditions contained in Schedule 5 states that the Owner Driver shall take out and maintain insurance cover as provided by this Schedule. The Owner Driver shall be required to take out and maintain the following insurance cover:
Vehicle Insurance Third party cover with a limit of indemnity for Third Party Motor Liability of at least £5 million. Vehicle Insurance must specify that the Vehicle will be used for carriage of goods for hire or reward and the insured person/company must have their business specified as courier or for delivery and collection of parcels.
Public Liability Insurance: £ 5 million
Property Damage Vehicle Insurance: £ 5 million
Employers Liability Insurance: £ 5 million
Goods in Transit insurance: £ 25,000
Includes PDA Cover up to £1000 – FREE OF CHARGE
